TV Show review: Revolution

Hello, your STEM reviewer Robert Malizia here with another review.  This week, I’m reviewing the number 1 TV show on NBC.  It is directed by Erik Kripke, producer of the hit show Supernatural.  It is based on a post-apocalyptic world in which all electricity was shut off in the world and the world’s governments corrupt and get destroyed, the rest of America (that is still alive) is then in one of three militias that control their own territory. I will review this based on the story-line & writing of the show this week

The story-line for the show is great.  It is very complicated, however.  It starts with people living their normal life, but then all power in the world went out. Then, the show follows a family - that contains a son, daughter, mom, step-mom, and uncle - in which the son and mom are kidnapped and the step-mom dies.  After that, the uncle and daughter find two more people, a multi-million dollar man named Aaron, and an explosive woman named Nora.  They are rebelling to get the power back on and bring America back.  I give the story-line a 5/5 for the great plotting by Erik Kripke.

The writing is not as good as the story-line, but still adds more to the show.  I think that the writing is starting to get really religious, just like Supernatural.  I would hate to see the writers go on strike like rumors suggest, because then the story-line will get all crazy.  Overall, I give the writing and the show a 5/5 stars.
