Do you like to wear flip-flops? No…..well maybe you like high heels. If you drive in either one of these types of shoes you will most likely, get into a car accident.  Did you know it is illegal to drive while wearing flip-flops in Spain? In some areas of the country it is also illegal to wear these shoes. For example, in Virginia law states, people driving should wear safety footwear that does not have an open heel like flip-flops or sandals. Shoes like flip-flops can slip off and wedge under the accelerator or brake pedals. High-heel shoes can also be a problem because heels can get caught in or under floor mats and delay accelerating or braking. Driving in bare feet, or socks can also be dangerous. Causing your feet to slip off the gas or brake pedals. So next time you drive, think about what shoes to wear for the safety of everyone in your vehicle and all around you.
