Earlier this month Scotland, one of the four territories of
the U.K, voted on whether it should stay in the U.K.
or become independent. Scotland has a moderate
economy that can theoretically support the
country. Although Scotland can relatively support itself
the Scottish voted no on the bill. In the aftermath of the
vote many unhappy are unhappy with the vote and this
has caused a very large group of people to be angry with
the Scottish government and there fellow Scotsman.
Scotland has relatively small population of 5 ½ million
and commits around 3 billion U.S. dollars to the crown. The vote had a major impact on the spirit of some of the older generations who largely voted for the separation. While majority of the younger generation voted for staying with the U.K. . This is a big point in the U.K.’s history, as well as Scotland’s.
