Robots may replace all delivery vehicles in the future
Have you ever thought that self driving robots would replace delivery trucks and cars? Well that may end up happening after some cities have started using self driving robots to go along the sidewalks and deliver packages to civilian’s houses instead of having a postman deliver the package.
These robots are great because they’re a lot smaller and cheaper to use. They also can be more efficient as well and don’t need an operator to work. The cons however, are that these miniature bots can’t travel on ice or heavy snow. They can get damaged or stolen, and can take a lot of time for civilians to get used to as they may injure or cause damage to other people and items.
These robots can soon be in about 10 cities around the U.S.A. These cities all think that having small delivery robots to deliver is a good idea, since they are programmed and can drive themselves. These robots can be a better option instead of UPS trucks or mail trucks, because they don’t need to be controlled.
There are already delivery robots in 16 different countries and more than 1.7 million people around the world have already encountered the new and improved pint sized postman. The robots have not encountered any issues as of right now. How would the world change if robots and drones were delivering packages and mail to our doorstep.
